What do other EAS customers think? And what did the ‘adminstrator’ think?

So, maybe I was just unlucky? Perhaps my expectations were unreasonable. Maybe when you spend several grand on double glazing, it’s only reasonable to have to hire a structural engineer, threaten court action and be still waiting a couple of years later for the job to be finished? Maybe I’m just a grumpy old man?

Maybe.

So let’s find out what other EAS customers think of the company. Click on the links below to check out other reviews of EAS, its products and its workmanship.

Let’s start off on the EAS’ own Facebook page. Here’s what a couple of customers posted:

The Windows and doors look great now that they are in. If you do use them: Do not expect people to turn up. Do no expect messages to be passed on. Do not promises to be kept. Do expect to have to take time off. Do expect to be told different things from different people within the company. Do expect it to take 4-5 visits for them to fit the correct products. Don’t expect them to put the customer first.
I wish I had gone with a cheaper bigger company.

And this–from another distressed and very cross customer at the start of this year:

I wish you could post a zero star review! Avoid like the plague unless you like living for over 18 months in a home with a half finished or leaking conservatory!! Just phoned the showroom to inform them that the latest repair work carried out on Monday has failed and the roof is leaking again for the 7th time since it was finally completed (which took them 8 months). The person I spoke to abruptly informed me they had skeleton staff on and phone back Monday then hung up!! Time to get the GGF involved and if that fails legal action I m sick of this and want a water tight home. Since this started I’ve had pneumonia and both myself and my 3 year old have recurrent chest infections. Absolutely appalling company and customer service.
*UPDATE 22/2/17*
So EAS came to “fix” our leaking roof AGAIN today. Just got home to what can only be described as swimming pool on the floor and a constant running of water in 2 places now!!!! Well done guys another excellent job and some more ruined toys for my girl!!

And look at the latest posts (summer 2017) on Google reviews

It didn’t just seem to be me. It wasn’t just a case of a bit of bad luck. EAS clearly had a very poor track record–and that’s what the adminstrator concluded in the document that wound up the company. Here are a couple of quotes:

‘ During 2015 a pivotal number of projects were found to be designed and installed incorrectly……….attracting and recruiting high quality installers and experienced industry personnel became increasingly difficult…..’

WOULD YOU REALLY CHOOSE TO HAVE WORK DONE BY A COMPANY WITH THIS TRACK RECORD THAT CAN’T EVEN GET DECENT STAFF TO WORK FOR IT?
