Local alternatives to EAS

I’ve learned the hard way about EAS, so when I needed to sort out doors and double glazing in a house I’ve been doing up for my daughter, I checked out local alternatives. Two local firms really stood out, and I’d encourage anyone looking for double glazing to give them a ring. Here are the details:

  • Tudor Windows. John, the owner was amazingly helpful and a pleasure to do business with. The fitters he uses were extremely good: punctual, fast, highly skilled and astonishingly tidy, as well as being very friendly. You can reach John on 0116 2785910.
  • Magna Windows. I’d had Magna Windows strongly recommended to me by a neighbour after the EAS disaster. Now (in 2020) I’ve finally had a chance to use the company–and their work is outstanding. The men who fitted the window were clearly extremely competent–as well as being very nice guys. They managed to put in a big downstairs bay window in a day and a half without any mess or fuss. It’s well designed, beautifully installed and looks good.
